A plaintiff/tenant who has moved out will use this form to receive his/her security deposit from their previous landlord. A tenant will use this form when his/her landlord fails to return their security deposit within 30 days from when the tenant moves out. This Security Deposit Demand Letter will be sent to the landlord from the tenant before pursuing the claim in court.This is an initial notice to the landlord.
